Flutter
Showing policymakers the value of grassroots sport to communities
Flutter wanted to show how Cash4Clubs is powering grassroots sport across the UK and Ireland, with £1.3m put into more than 650 clubs in three years. The brief was to get that in front of MPs, peers, policymakers and Westminster opinion formers ahead of and during Labour Party Conference 2026.
MessageSpace delivered one campaign pairing high reach political display with full page print, live from 21 to 30 September as Westminster headed to conference. Display on Guido Fawkes, one of the sites Westminster checks first, delivered over 1.2 million impressions and 1,280 clicks to cash4clubs.org.
Full page print ads ran in The Spectator and the New Statesman, read by paying subscribers, MPs, peers, civil servants and think tank analysts, and both editions were circulated at Labour Party Conference, right where the audience was. A second New Statesman page, published 1 October, was negotiated free of charge. Every element was planned, bought and optimised end to end by MessageSpace.
