    Fleet Street Quarter

Driving a 25% uplift in ticket sales for the first Festival of Words

Fleet Street Quarter was launching its first Festival of Words, a ten-day celebration of the EC4 area's journalism and storytelling heritage running from 7 to 16 May 2026. The brief was to fill seats: drive ticket sales and build awareness for the festival among London's culture and book lovers, plus the commuters moving through the Fleet Street corridor every day.

MessageSpace delivered a two-part campaign pairing conversion-focused event ads with a broader awareness push, run across the channels this audience already trusts. Themed creative was built around six festival strands, using talent such as Tom Bradby, Iain and Steve and the Political Journalism programme as the hook.

Display alongside 15 and 30 second video was geo and audience targeted across premium London inventory, layered with a high-affinity placement on The Spectator's Books podcast and Books newsletter. Out of home ran along the corridor itself, including City Thameslink and 23 panels across Temple, Blackfriars, St Paul's and Chancery Lane. Every element was planned, bought and optimised end to end by MessageSpace.
